Service Dog Training

After 3 years of work finding and training my service dog. 7 years of experiencing the ups and downs, through mistakes, failures, and successes, I can confidentially tell you the process of getting and training a service dog, learning the ins and outs, and the financial burdens, all on top of dealing with your own disability is hard. Hard, is an understatement, this can seem impossible and overwhelming at times. Which is why it is my mission to help anyone who has a disability and needs the assistance of  a service dog, not only to obtain and train but to also guide you through this process.

Other channels of obtaining a service dog is to buy a fully trained service dog, get one through charitable associations, or to pay someone to help you train a dog. While all these are also great options buying a fully trained service dog can cost you well over $20,000, training a service dog not only is hard to find an association but those are also be extremely expensive and you are still stuck on your own trying to figure out all the ins and outs of owning a service dog. While charities are amazing there are a lot of qualifications and approval processes, and that's just to get on a waiting list, and those waiting lists have several years long wait.

At Safe Haven Canine service dog training cost $349 for 8 classes, stretched over a course of a month, or $600 for 16 classes stretched over 2 months. This will also include valuable information. An extremely personalized plan and constant communication via text, email, call, social media, facetime, whatever you need I will be there for you. While you are paying for training, you will get so much more. I recommend starting off with a puppy, although its not a requirement. I also suggest a service dog remain a service dog in training for at least 2 years. As your dog will need some experience under their belt. For further details please feel to reach out!
